In IBPS, if an aspirant apply for PO the selection process consists of 3 phases preliminary( times allotted one hour and 20 mints ), Mains( 3 hour ,30 mintutes), and interview( 10 to 20 minutes) and aspirants must qualify each of them to proceed to the next phase Candidates must qualify Phase-2 and Interview separately to be eligible for final merit. And then final result will be declared on the basic of combined performance.

SBI also conduct an online examination where the candidates must solve the question paper of preliminary has been completed in one 1 hour for 100 marks, and mains is to be completed in a time span of only 3 hours and no time limit for final stage where, A candidate who clears both the Prelims & Mains Exam of SBI PO will be further called for a GD-PI session wherein they will face a panel of selectors discussing on their past experience and questions related to General Knowledge and of the Banking Sector.
